OUR FUTURE IS NOT DOMINATION
IT'S REVOLUTION AND ANARCHY!

First demonstration in Athens, after three months of continuous operations of state terrorism and propaganda in relation with "neutralizing" November 17 armed organization. 2.500-3.000 took the streets, ignoring the intimidation campaign launched the previous days by the media, who were calling for the prohibition of the demo. About half of the demonstration was the anarchist bloc, with a banner
"AGAINST TERRORISM OF THE STATE AND THE BOSSES
STEP BACK SQUEALERS! GO AHEAD COMPRADES!"

and slogans "The states are the only terrorists - solidarity with the armed insurgents, “The passion for freedom is stronger than all prisons”, “Free all prisoners", “Cops Pigs Assassins”, “Cops, Judges, Bosses, Collaborators - you’re all going to pay the blood of Giuliani”, “Solidarity is the peoples’ weapon - War to the war of the bosses”, “Death to all bosses -right and left”, ", "No Fascism - Nor Democracy -Down with the State-Long live Anarchy!", "Black and Red troops - Death to the statists", "People don't forget - They hung the informers" many slogans against prisons, against the media creeps, about the state crimes, the numerous deaths in working "accidents" and the murders of immigrants in the borders, in the cities and inside prisons. The bloc finished with a call of the names of comrades and militants murdered by the state in the period of "democracy"... It was a noisy answer to the propaganda of the authority and its lackeys and a passionate message of solidarity with all those people who resist either inside or outside prison cells.

Next day (Oct.2) public prosecutor started a prosecution against "unknown persons" for the graffitis and the slogans of the demonstration as "destroying public property" and "praising a crime".

On October 3d, police started a pogrom. Dozens of people were taken to police hq. and police stations for interrogation, mainly from the streets of Exarchia in Athens, while others were taken outside self-managed social centers from various neighbourhoïds of Athens and Piraeus. In some cases comrades were taken outside their houses or working places. Until late at night all 60 of them were released, after having to give fingerprints and interrogated about where they were specific times of the last days, what are their relations with various places and people, and in some cases police showed them video from the demonstration with faces of comrades participating. They were also warned to be "good and prudent" and asked to "tell the others" that "things have now changed". Given the success of the 2-days festival of squats & self-managed social centers on September 27/28 and the success of the October 1st antiterrorist demonstration, it is evident that these arrests are part of a wide police operation to intimidate, register and repress individuals and collectives of the anti-authoritarian spectrum.

October 5... arrests continue... comrades receive "notes" to present to the police station of their area

October 9... New arrests and interrogations of comrades taken from the streets of Exarchia...
