Thessaloniki, September 17 2002: by anarchists and anti-authoritarians |
After the repeated working "accidents" in - Public Electric Company of Megalopolis on September 7 [worker H.Barlabas dead, and workers Tsoukalas, Kouretas, Papageorgiou, Boulougaris, Athanasopoulos, Kourouniotis, Papagorgiou severely burned], - in Motor Oil which belongs to this bastard Vardinogiannis on September 10 [workers G.Ioannou, M.Perletsi and K.Sofos dead] and the three "unfortunate" workers who died in different construction works the same day... 40 comrades in Thessaloniki decided to blockade the eastern city's Electric Company, on Tuesday S17. The blockade of the building lasted for about 1 hour. The banners put in the entrance and the garage said: 'WORKING ACCIDENTS ARE MURDERS COMMITTED BY THE BOSSES' and 'PUBLIC AND PRIVATE CAPITAL KILL WORKERS'. There were graffitis painted around the building and leaflets given to the neighborhood, to people who gathered and to the workers of the Electric Company. The flyers were against the bosses, the sold trade unions, the syndicates and the committees of the political parties and their set-up protests, against the division of workers, the Media-dealers of the bosses and exploitation, against the misery and the apathy, and proposing direct action to stop next murders of workers, social solidarity, class conscience and DON'T LET THEM PLAY WITH OUR LIVES ANY MORE!
